The South African Train-shoot is a wonderful way of enjoying a hunting trip. Each day is different and may include short cross-country trips or charter flights to prime game bird and wildlife areas.

If you are not too occupied with a sky full of birds, you might catch sight of kudu, bushbuck, reed buck, impala and many other species.

Bird Shooting in Africa

We represent a dedicated organiser based in the Northern Province of South Africa. This young man who has merited rave reviews from discerning English sportsmen specialises in shooting Francolin (up to five different species and guineafowl) over a collection of remarkably well bred and trained English Setters. He personally looks after all his guests who are invited to stay 7 - 14 days. In addition to Francolin it is possible to flight sand grouse and to shoot a variety of duck and geese including the 20 pound Spurwing Goose: season May-August. Current vacancies are 21 - 31 May, 23 July - 8 August and 13 - 25 August. For 2 / 3 guns US$ 370 per gun/night and for 4 - 6 guns US$ 315 per gun/night. Non shooting guests US$ 160 per night.

Big Game

For Big Game we are the sole UK agent for J.B. Hunting and Video Safaris. Situated two hours north of Johannesburg, between Naboomspruit and Potgietersrus, it is the ultimate area for unspoiled wildlife with a greater variety than other parts of South Africa. It is a beautiful natural area of approximately 4,000 Ha, consists of two adjacent farms which are owned by J.B. Hunting and Video Safaris, fenced and electrified, and captures the real untamed Africa with mountains, slopes, plain areas, rocky terrain, bushveld and water areas, enabling all existing game to live in their natural habitat.

European standards are maintained in a security-fenced resort of 7 Ha with a beautiful garden in which the accommodation is built. African Rondavels, swimming pool of 2000 square metres, boma with BBQ facilities, lapa with dining and sitting area, bar, kitchen and curio shop.

Tanzania

We are also pleased to represent Baron Erik von Eckhardt Safari (T) Ltd, a long established professional company who offer the discerning sportsman the ultimate hunting experience.

Baron have chosen Lake Burigi Game Reserve in the far west of the country to base their camp. The area has no habitations whatsoever and is known for its particularly large buffalo, well-maned lion, huge Defassa waterbuck and impala. Burigi also offers the very rare East African sitatunga as well as large leopard, roan, topi, bohor reedbuck and various other antelope.

7, 16 and 21 day safaris are available.

Hunt exclusively over one million Hectares of reserved land. Each are shot only once per year.

African Dove Shooting in Morocco

Two to four days shooting for 4 - 8 guns expecting 50 birds per gun per day. Either at Taraoudant (Agadir Airport) or at Marrakesh or Beni-Mellal (Marrakesh Airport). Quoted in French Francs prices include airport transfers and transport on shoot, necessary shooting staff, accommodation with all meals but excludes cartridges, tips, single room surcharges, air travel plus additional Moroccan taxes which are approximately FF 800.
